Join a dynamic group of community partners that assist the Veteran’s Council and support the needs of local veterans and Active-duty members within Chatham County.  The sponsor donations directly assist in covering the cost of multiple veteran recognition events throughout the year.  These events include the Veteran’s Day Gala, Veteran’s Day Parade, parade insurance, parade reviewing stand rental, cleaning supplies for Memorial Day veteran headstone cleanings, flag and equipment maintenance for casket flags used on Memorial Day for display on Broughton Street additionally these donations help support veterans in crisis through lodging, food bank supplies and medical transportation costs.
